Finally deciding to catch up on some old stories to make them posts. Been out of the food posting game for too long.
So this place absolutely needed posting for those in the south east London area. We could see smoke belling from one stand at the market, and seeing Jerk chicken made properly, this was a must stop for lunch. Since we turned up early, we managed to have a bit of a chat with the proprietor of @thertgkitchen, really nice guy, told us all about running a market stall, was an insightful chat pre-food fest.
We opted for the Tamarind Jerk Chicken, which was absolutely delightful. Exactly what was expected, a smokey flavour right through the meat 🍗, delicious.
Second was the dragon wings, which happened to be in a significantly spicy 🌶 🥵 sauce. Chilli isn’t generally something to intimidate me, but it was pretty warming on such a cold day 😀.
